About Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST)

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) is a profound and gentle touch based modality. BCST has its roots in Osteopathy, and has grown out of the deep work done by Dr William Garner Sutherland in late 1800’s.

BCST today, is an advanced and refined therapy combining the original cranial concepts with modern scientific understandings of anatomy, embryology along with the extended support of psychological, somatic and trauma based approaches.

Biodynamic relates to the form of practice – non manipulative and body/life based; Cranio comes from cranium (head/skull), Sacral is from sacrum (lower end of the vertebral column). Between the cranium and sacrum, we have the supremely potent Central Nervous System without which practically no body structure or function can exist or occur.

BCST is a “whole person” approach – we are much more than just the physical body and BCST engages with all layers of being – physical/emotional/mental/spiritual.

Namrata Lulla

BCST practitioner

My own life journey led me to follow deep and long standing interests in health, wellbeing, alternative therapies and meditation which felt beautifully tied together in BCST.

B.Sc(Dietetics), and the Extra Lesson program are other qualifications.

I continue to deepen my skills in the BCST modality through Post graduate certifications. It always is a humbling privilege to observe the change that BCST work brings to the lives of those touched by it. This is the strong force that drives my commitment to this wonderful work and to practice it with utmost sincerity and gratitude.

Music, reading, travelling, family, nature and animals are the other interests that fill my life with joy.
